VERONICA MARS Is Back. Official Movie Trailer Hits The Web.
I’ve been doing my best to get caught up on Veronica Mars before the movie hits. It was something I missed in its initial run and not seeing it was one of my few pop culture regrets. I’m through season two right now, and yes, the show is worth all the hype. It’s dark. It’s funny. Kind of like sour bubble gum. And it’s some of the best TV writing you’ll ever experience. So what’s in store for everybody’s formerly teenage private eye? Check it out: Veronica Mars: The Movie hits select theaters on March 14,...

Now this is impressive. I was anticipating but not excited about The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but after this trailer, with its reveals of Rhino and Goblin, plus Easter Eggs like Doc Ock’s tentacles and Vulture’s wings, how can I not be pumped for this sequel? I’ll leave it at that. Just check it out: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2,...
Read MoreNew Trailer For VAMPIRE ACADEMY!
“Trust me. You do not what to have to get a nose job in Montana.” Ah, Daniel Waters. How I’ve missed you. Daniel and his brother Mark have teamed up for an adaptation of Richelle Mead’s best-seller Vampire Academy, and as I’ve said before, this is probably the only time you’ll ever see me excited for a teen vamp romance adaptation (well, outside of Vampire Diaries). In the latest trailer, we get a better idea of just exactly what the movie is about, but it’s the oh-so-quotable dialog that’s going to get us in the theaters. Check it...

Between the myriad character posters and countless trailers, you think we’d be ready for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug by now. But the movie is still over a month away and there’s a lot of marketing to do. On the plus side, the latest trailer has a lot of brand new stuff in it, including some better shots of Smaug and a good bit of his voice (played by Benedict Cumberbatch). Check it...
Read MoreTrailer: Swinton And Hiddleston Vamp It Up For Jarmusch In ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE
So Jim Jarmusch made a vampire movie with Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston. That’s about the only thing I need/want to know going into Only Lovers Left Alive. But because I didn’t even know this movie existed until the trailer came out, I couldn’t help but watch this ultimately mystifying trailer for the latest addition to the growing vamp cinema cannon. Going out on a limb, we’re probably going to see vampires thirsting for blood, along with some vamp sex. But hey, it’s Tilda, Tom and Jim, so count me in whatever the case may be. According to BAD, which posted the trailer, the film still has no US release date. Maybe we’re looking at a VOD release? Whatever it takes. Whatever it...
Read MoreFinal HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Trailer Hits The Web!
We’re less than one month away from the release of what will likely be one of the years biggest movies, if not the biggest. And today, we awake to the new, final trailer for the film. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is arguably the best book in the series. (I was reading it during the Arab Spring, though, so real-life revolutions may have added to the book’s affect.) So I’m pretty excited to see badass lady Katniss Everdeen in action on the big screen again. Like Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, my favorite Potter book and movie, the material is just so good… and cinematic… that it’ll be hard not to make a great movie out of it. May the odds be ever in our favor. ANYWAY, here’s the final trailer in all its glory: The Hunger...
