Read MoreFirst Look: Xavier Dolan’s TOM AT THE FARM Image and Poster
Good god, how I love Xavier Dolan. I caught Dolan’s Laurence Anyways at the Cleveland International Film Festival in March and still haven’t seen anything that comes close to the cinematic virtuosity Dolan exhibits with that film. It’s a masterpiece. But Laurence Anyways has been around for more than a year and half now, after premiering at Cannes in 2012. Dolan’s latest film Tom at the Farm will premiere at the 2013 Venice Film Festival. And whatever the wait to see the movie is this time around (probably in 2014), it’ll be worth it. A young ad executive travels to the country for a funeral and discovers that no one there knows his name or his relationship with the...

In my opinion, Catching Fire is easily the best book in The Hunger Games series. The characters, from different generations and each a survivor of a previous Hunger Games competition, come into the story with richer, darker backgrounds. And the location is so much better than just playing in the woods. Of course, there’s also Finnick Odair in this one, which automatically makes it better than any of the other books. So as the Comic Con previews continue, today we have 10 new character posters for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. And again, the filmmakers nail it. Check ’em out. And just so you’re not wasting your time, I’ll tell you that Finnick is in the top row, second from the left. Sources: Yahoo, MSN, Empire, MTV, Moviefone, LA...
Read MoreCory Monteith’s Last Film: New Images From ALL THE WRONG REASONS Released
Cory Monteith’s sudden passing due to accidental overdose is a tragedy. As a former Gleek, I can honestly say it’s hard to read about Finn dying so young. But with Monteith, we never really got to see just how talented he was outside of Glee. For the filmmakers behind All the Wrong Reasons, that will make the release of their film bittersweet. In it Monteith plays a big box store manager whose wife is struggling with PTSD. The film’s director Gia Milani described the role as “pretty heavy role, very dramatic, very intense, quite a departure from Finn.” Here are a couple images of Monteith from his final role, which will be the only time we’ll get a chance to see just how versatile Monteith really was: Source:...
