Fan Re-Edits ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Season 4 in Chronological Order
Have you already watched Arrested Development‘s fourth season more than once? Me too. So you already know that it’s about as beautifully convoluted as a show can get while still being brilliantly entertaining. Of course, the interweaving narratives have made it hard for some fans to get into the show. (Make it past episode 3 and I promise you’ll love it. But I digress.) Thanks to Redditor morphinapg you can experience the show in a more orderly chronological fashion. Morphinapg re-edited the Bluth family’s misadventrues in chronological order and posted it on Reddit. I haven’t watched it yet, but I will. In the mean time, let me know if what you think of the two different versions in the comments below....

With the studios and Hulu infringing on Netflix’s turf, the DVD-rental-turned-Internet-TV company needed a big move. And boy did make one. Netflix announced on Friday that they would be the exclusive US and Canadian distributor of the 26-episode series House of Cards, from executive producers Kevin Spacey and David Fincher. Here’s what Netflix’s Chief Content Office Ted Sarandos had to say on the official Netflix blog: We’re delighted to tell you that in late 2012 Netflix will be bringing to our members in the U.S. and Canada exclusively House of Cards, the much-anticipated television series and political thriller from Executive Producer David Fincher and starring Kevin Spacey. We’ve committed to at least 26 episodes of the serialized drama, which is based on a BBC mini-series from the 1990s that’s been a favorite of Netflix members. Originally written as a novel by...

The original Robocop, Peter Weller, took a break from his scholarly work in Roman and Renaissance Art to record a special message about Detroit’s Robocop statue. Weller’s silence over the past few weeks has been deafening, but like Al Gore in 2008, his endorsement is easily the most important one in this...

Read MoreYes, Detroit needs a Robocop statue
It’s been a week since Detroit Mayor Dave Bing replied to a tweet saying that “not any plans to erect a statue to Robocop.” The Internets, as they sometimes do with their Egyptian revolutions and whatnot, said otherwise. And when it comes down to it, I’m pretty sure a Robocop statue will do more for Motown than all the Chrysler commercials in the world. I mean, I traveled to Detroit last summer with a group of friends just to see the Alamo Drafthouse’s Rolling Roadshow screening of Verhoeven’s masterpiece. Do you think anything would stop us from going to see Detroit raise a Robocop statue? You hear that, Mayor Bing. That’s the sound of tourism dollars coming your way. All practicality aside, Detroit would score some major awesome points with this one. And 100 years from now, when parents...
