We all know that Joss Whedon would have made a Wonder Woman movie that is better than all of the Nolan Batman movies and Man of Steel combined. But it was not to be. But for now, we’ll have to wait to see what DC has, doesn’t have or doesn’t know it has up its sleeve. To hold you over, here’s a pretty amazing Wonder Woman fan film by Leo Kei Angeleos that gets right to the heart of why Diana’s story would make a kick-ass movie franchise. What’s a “MacGuffin”? Well, it’s simply an empty object that moves a plot forward. You may have seen the word dropped in espionage film reviews or thrillers. But I don’t think anyone could describe a “MacGuffin” better than the man behind some of the best thrillers of all-time, Alfred Hitchcock. GAME OF THRONES Gets A Goyte Parody With “A Character I Used To Know”

Posted by on Jul 9, 2013 in The Tube, The Web | 0 comments

Those Game of Thrones “Red Wedding” reaction videos are fun, but they don’t quite get to the collective state of mourning that all GoT fans are still in because of what happened to Ned Stark in season one. One Comic Dares To Ask: What If Michael J. Fox Never Replaced Eric Stoltz In BACK TO THE FUTURE?

Posted by on Jun 30, 2013 in The Pictures, The Web | 0 comments

It’s close to common knowledge at this point that Eric Stoltz was Marty McFly for 5 weeks of shooting on Back to the Future.  But what if Michael J. Fox never replaced Stoltz in the iconic role? Well, writer  David Guy Levy has written a six-issue digital comics series about an alternative universe (the one where, I presume, Terry Gilliam actually directed Harry Potter) where the Back to the Future filmmakers had to go back in time to make sure Eric Stoltz stayed on as Marty. The project actually started as a movie script, but considering that it was next to impossible to ever get this movie made, Levy decided to adapt it into a comic series… and help a good cause in the process. You see, the first three issues of the comic will be made available for free online (with the...

Every once in a while, news comes along that reaffirms our faith in humanity. Today, it’s this: Some people actually made a life-sized, working replica of “The Car Built for Homer.” Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a nerf ball, the car was built by Porcubimmer Motors for the 24 Hours of Lemons Race this weekend in Buttonwillow, Calif. Check it out and know that we humans really can do anything when we put our minds to it: Source: The...
