May’s Top Stories: Sad Batman

As down as I am on the whole Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, I’ll never complain about Zack Snyder’s stylistic choices. When he tweeted the first picture of Batman and the Batmobile earlier this month, the Frank Miller-inspired Batsuit looked damn good. Check it out again:

But as the internet does, it responded with one epic meme: Sad Batman. There have literally been hundreds (at least) of these memes put out there on the net. I won’t post them all here. The good folks over at NIS did a good enough job gathering the 50 of the greatest Sad Batman memes. But this one seems to be the most profound:

While I have no confidence that the actual movie will be entertaining, at least we had this.
