First Look: Donal Logue As Harvey Bullock In GOTHAM
After months of casting news and other story tidbits, Fox finally released the first image from Gotham, featuring Donal Logue as the hard-scrabble, Batman-hating detective. All hope for the show may have gone out the window when Fox’s Kevin Reilly described the show this way: “We will follow Bruce Wayne right up until the point where he gets interesting.” But at least Harvey Bullock looks about right, eh? Well, cleaner that I would have imagined, but close.
I still don’t understand how Gotham is going to work in terms of use of the villains (Catwoman would be like 8). I don’t understand how it’s going to work with Gordon and Bullock either. The show really doesn’t make much sense.
This being Batman, if they focus on making the villain interesting, then they could have a show on their hands. But if we’re in police procedural hell, you won’t even have to worry about setting your DVR.
