Aaron Taylor-Johnson is OFFICIALLY Quicksilver in AVENGERS 2

Believe it or not, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who has been rumored since June and unofficially confirmed since the beginning of the month to play Quicksilver in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, wasn’t even signed for the film. Until yesterday that is.

According to the Wrap, ATJ, who is pretty much already Quicksilver in most minds, closed the deal yesterday, after working his publicity schedule for the upcoming WB monster movie Godzilla around the shooting schedule for Avengers. 

Now, Marvel hasn’t confirmed the report, but the Wrap is solid source, so an announcement from the studio is likely imminent. Pretty kick ass.
