Just when you thought there were only two hours of Breaking Bad left, AMC comes along and gives us just a little bit more. The final two episodes, airing Sept. 22 and Sept. 29, will both be extended to 75 minutes each with commercials.

Writer/producer Peter Gould took to Twitter yesterday let BB addicts know the good news:

The final episodes have certainly used every single one of their 60-minutes so far, with longer pauses in action to build up the tension and anxiety around key events. Having the season itself cut in half and extended has allowed the showrunners to take their time putting together scenarios that would have been rushed in the standard 13-episode season. You can trust that those extra 15-minutes tacked on to each of the final two episodes will be put to good use… especially with the show getting darker and darker as it comes to its inevitably bad end.
