World’s Finest: Superman And Batman Team-Up Movie Coming In 2015
Okay, Man of Steel fans, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for: Superman and Batman will be on the big screen together in 2015. Warner Bros. made the announcement today at Comic Con, and revealed the master plan for DC properties on the big screen with The Flash coming in 2016 and Justice League in 2017.
According to THR, the whole Man of Steel team will be back for this World’s Finest team-up, with Zack Snyder directing, Goyer writing and Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane starring again. Who’s playing Batman? We’ll have to know soon if they want to hit the 2015 release date.
This isn’t surprising news, though. I honestly expected an announcement like it to be made the Monday after Man of Steel hit theaters. Unlike Marvel, Warner Bros. has control of its most popular and well-known superheroes, so they can easily accomplish something like this. Sort of, because complete control is a blessing and a curse.
On the plus side, their Justice League movie won’t be missing primary team members, like The Avengers was Spidey. And the minus? Supes and Batman suck the air out of the room. The B-list superheroes will struggle for screen time against behemoths like Superman and Batman. A World’s Finest movie give fans the chance to see Superman and Batman together one their own, so later it’ll be okay for the B-listers (like The Flash) to become major parts of the story. (Personally, I like the way it was handled in the Justice League: The New Frontier.)
Of course this begs the question: What about Wonder Woman and the Green Lantern? Will Justice League be used to introduce them before moving on to stand alone flicks? I guess that depends on just how big Justice League will be… and if people will still want to see superhero movies in 2018, nearly 20 years after their big screen dominance first started.

certainly like your web site but you need to check the spelling on quite
a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I
