Watch Christian Bale In The Trailer For OUT OF THE FURNACE
Christian Bale teams with director Scott Cooper, the man who directed Jeff Bridges to his first Oscar in Crazy Heart, in the upcoming drama Out of the Furnace.
The film follows Russell Baze, a small town steel worker with a terminally ill father whose brother Rodney returns home from serving time in Iraq. Rodney mysteriously disappears after falling in with a rural crime ring, and it’s up to Russell to get him back.
The trailer is hints at some pretty heavy drama, but one thing’s for certain: This will likely be a showpiece for the actors involved, including Casey Affleck who channels his Robert Ford performance here. Check it out:
