Disney-Pixar’s Monsters University, the sequel to the 2001 animated hit Monsters Inc., didn’t scare audiences away from the box office this weekend. The film brought in $82 million for the second highest Disney-Pixar opening to date. But Monsters big weekend didn’t stop Brad Pitt’s zombie epic World War Z from making $66 million for Pitt’s biggest weekend opener of his career.
