Honestly, there’s only so many twenty-something first world problems that you can take. But if HBO’s Girls were still alive and angsting 36 years from now, what would it look like? Like Golden Girls in New York City with a bunch of sixty-something first world problems.

Check out this hilarious video for Girls Season 38 from Gail Lerner of Will & Grace fame. The video stars Laraine Newman as a 65-year-old Hannah who’s still hooking up with random guys and compulsively eating. (Even at 65, Hannah will still be the voice of her generation.) Then there’s Wendie Malick (Hot in Cleveland) as a gray-haired Marnie, who I mention for no other reason then she’s always fab.

Start watching for the concept, but stick around for the chemo bit. So good.
