TFC Morning Report – Friday, March 6, 2009 – Mark Wahlberg attached to ‘Prisoners’
RSSS

Top Story: Mark Wahlberg is attached to what is being called the hottest script in Hollywood. Written by Aaron Guzikowski, Prisoners follows the father of a kidnapped girl who kidnaps the man he suspects of snatching his daughter. Wahlberg is the family-man/vigilante, but I imagine he’ll be a little rougher around the edges than Liam Neeson in the similarly-themed Taken. (HR)

In Other News: Matt Damon will star in the sci-fi love story The Adjustment Bureau for Universal Pictures and director George Nolfi. (Variety)

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions are the proud owners of the domestic rights to The Cove, which won the audience award for documentary at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. (Variety)

That untitled Adam Sandler comedy featuring his buddies Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, and David Spade now has a release date.  Sony will drop the picture in theaters on March 10, 2010. (erc BoxOffice)
