Top Story: Oscar winner Diablo Cody will produce the zombie rom-com (yes, you read that correctly) Breathers for Fox Searchlight. This will be her third project with the Fox specialty division following Juno and the upcoming Jennifer’s Body. (Variety)
In Other News: Naomi Watts and Slumdog Millionaire‘s Freida Pinto will join Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins in Woody Allen’s yet-to-be-titled film. (Variety)
Chiwetel Ejiofor is in talks to join Angelina Jolie in Phillip Noyce’s spy thriller Salt. (HR)
Coming off his Oscar-winning role as Harvey Milk, Sean Penn is looking to play another real life character, Ambassador Joseph Wilson. Penn is in talks to take on the role opposite Naomi Watts in Doug Liman’s upcoming film Fair Game, a drama about CIA agent Valerie Plame’s outing. (Variety)
