Drudge is an idiot.
I know I’m stating the obvious with that title, but you have to wonder what use it is to have a headline like “Oliver Stone’s ‘W’ partly funded by Chinese money” in red text on Drudge’s news page. Click through to the story at Times Online, and you’ll see the Chinese money thing is a shoulder shrug of a fact buried in the fifth paragraph. He had to dig deeper into that article than most of his readers will to find something that would piss off right-wing critics.
Just a word of advice, Drudge. Don’t criticize a filmmaker for making a comedy about a sitting president with Chinese money when that same president funded a war that way.
