It looks like the Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight, has a lot more spectacle. A lot more spectacle. I’m hoping that won’t dilute the promise of an ultimate Batman versus Joker story. Chris Nolan and Heath Ledger’s Joker doesn’t disappoint, but if I see any more of him, my expectations are going to be insurmountable.
The Dark Knight opens July 18, 2008.
P.S. Nolan, if you kill the Joker at the end of this one, I may have to find you and…um..have a civil discussion. They built Arkam for a reason, ya know.
