Director Bennett Miller is two for two when it comes to making feature films with his Oscar nominated dramas Capote and Moneyball. In December, his third true life story Foxcatcher, starring Steve Carrell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo hits screens just in time for Oscar consideration.
Foxcatcher tells the story of two Olympic wrestlers and brothers and their relationship with friend and one brother’s murderer John duPont. Carell plays duPont while the wrestling brothers are played by Tatum and Ruffalo. This movie’s premise alone promises one hell of a picture when you consider it’s coming from the director of Capote.
