  • How much would you pay to see Brad Pit fight zombies? Paramount is offering a $50 Mega Ticket to see World War Z at five Regal Cinemas locations around the country. What does this $50 ticket get you? Admission to a 3D screening, a digital copy of the movie when it’s release, custom 3D glasses, a limited-edition movie poster and a small popcorn. And you thought that $25 IMAX 3D ticket was expensive. (Deadline)
  • You know who wouldn’t be surprised by that $50 ticket price? Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. The two legendary filmmakers where at a USC School of Cinematic Arts event when they said that the film industry (at least theatrically) was about to implode. Spielberg just happened to mention that you’ll likely spend $25 on your ticket to the next Iron Man. Looks like it’ll be $50 instead, Steve. (THR)
  • Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Only God Forgives hasn’t been released yet, but that’s not stopping the new directing superstar from talking about his next project: An adaptation of Alejandro Jodorowsky and Moebius’s comic book series The Incal. (Screenrant)

  • Disney announced more release dates for upcoming pictures including Into the Woods on Christmas 2014; Planes 2 (yes, I’m serious) on July 18, 2014; Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland on Dec. 12, 2014; and Muppets Most Wanted on March 21, 2014. The studio also staked its clamin on the first weekends in May in both 2015 and 2016 for Marvel Comics movies. (Deadline)
