Sarah Vowell on The Incredibles 2
You know, that title would have you think that I have news here. But I don’t. Neither did Sarah Vowell when she spoke at the Cleveland Public Library yesterday. After reading from her books and what I presume is an unpublished essay (she read it from a printed document), Ms. Vowell answered audience questions.
Before anybody could even ask the question, she said of The Incredibles 2, and I’m paraphrasing, “I don’t know anything. I don’t know what they are planning. I don’t know if their writing it. And it takes 4 or 5 years to make one of these movies, so it’s a long way off if it happens.”
Hmm. I wonder how Pixar’s PR team would react to that. Well, if you Pixar guys have a Google Alert set and this is some sort of nightmare quote, you can thank me for bringing it to your attention by sending me a free copy of the WALL-E DVD.
