Webb for SPIDER-MAN, Sinestro in GREEN LANTERN, more
I had a very busy week this week. Here are a few of the news items that I missed:
- Spider-Man is dead. Long live Spider-Man. Sony is already moving ahead with its Spider-Man reboot and (500) Days of Summer helmer Marc Webb is high on the list of potential directors. (via DHD)
- Sinestro may still be in The Green Lantern after all. HitFix is still beating the Jackie Earle Haley drum, but MTV talked to director Martin Campbell who said he’s eyeing Sherlock Holmes villain Mark Strong for the role. (via HitFix & MTV)
- Lionsgate is ready to pay the bargain basement price of $15 million +5 percent of future grosses for the Terminator rights. The four Terminator movies have a collective gross of $518 million domestically. (via TheWrap)
- Mark Wahlberg and Paramount are planning a sequel to Four Brothers, titled Five Brothers. (via HitFix)
