Maybe it’s Obama in the Whitehouse. Maybe it’s Conan on The Tonight Show. Maybe it’s Jon and Kate dropping the “and.” But it feels like our pop culture went into some of the craziest, most entertaining directions this year. A flip was switched. A floodgate was opened. Choose your metaphor.
