Nine release shifted to December – TFC Morning Report
Top Story: The Weinstein Company has moved Oscar contender Nine to December, taking it out of direct competition with the Weinsteins’ other late-year releases, The Road and A Single Man. The Rob Marshall movie musical will bow in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 18, then open wide on Dec. 25. (Variety) In Other News: Another movie musical has added a cast member. Kristen Bell will join Christina Aguilera, Cher, and Stanley Tucci in Burlesque, playing Aguilera’s female rival at a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club. Steve Antin directs.
