ARROW Sets Sights On SPARTACUS Actress For Amanda Waller
Well, they didn’t go for Angela Bassett. It looks like Arrow instead found its Amanda Waller in Cynthia Addai-Robinson, who was most recently featured in the television series Spartacus and Vampire Diaries. And according to TV Guide, this leaner, meaner Waller will also work for a renamed A.R.G.U.S – Advanced Research Group United Support, which swaps Super-humans for Support. My continued hopes of Arrow crossing over into the greater DC Cinematic Universe appear to have been dashed here, but hey, at least Zack Snyder and David Goyer won’t be able to mess around with the only working live-action DC property. Instead this expanded Arrow-verse continues to set its own tone and its own rules. With Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter in charge, I’ll keep my hopes high for this show and it’s inevitable Flash spinoff. Who knows, there may be more heroes to...

Cameron, a friend of Cuarón’s, saw the film about a month ago at a private screening. Variety caught up with Cameron and asked him what he thought about the picture.
