Even though The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo wasn’t the global smash hit Sony was expecting, there’s once again movement on the sequel, The Girl Who Played with Fire. Andrew Kevin Walker, the screenwriter behind Se7en, was quietly hired to rewrite Steve Zaillian’s draft and he’s almost done. Now if Sony can figure out a way to get the super busy David Fincher and Daniel Craig together, we could have a sequel shooting as soon as early 2014.
