Rick Moranis is officially retired from acting, but the seemingly never-ending talk about Ghostbusters 3 even has Louis Tully finally making a comment. Moranis recently told Empire magazine that he “wouldn’t not” do a third movie. However, the second film was a disappointment in his eyes and the third would have to be good in order for him to return. (Empire) Want to see a Hellboy 3? Well, don’t get your hopes up for a sequel anytime soon. Despite a possibility of the film being made at Legendary Pictures, the head of the company Thomas Tull said that there are right issues to be worked out before the movie can proceed. (Shock Till You Drop) How much money with Man of Steel make worldwide? The Hollywood Reporter is predicting about $650-700 million after the film just passed the $500 million mark. That puts MoS on...

Is Vin Diesel joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Possibly, as Diesel took to Facebook yesterday saying Marvel had requested a meeting with him. Who will he play? I like ScreenRant’s theory that Diesel would be the perfect voice of Thanos. (ScreenRant) Mega-spoiler alert (well, for those who are familiar with the Spidey comics): Here’s why Shailene Woodley‘s Mary Jane may have been cut from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. (Hollywood Life) Kick-Ass 2 has a viral campaign. (wearejusticeforever.com) Sandra Bullock is out, but Cameron Diaz is in. Diaz will fill the role of Miss Hannigan in the upcoming movie musical Annie after Bullock (again) declined the role. (Deadline) Daniel Day-Lewis who? Posted by on Jun 24, 2013 in Big News, The Pictures | 1 comment

Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters in about a month and a half, but you won’t see its biggest star, Jim Carrey, out promoting the film. Carrey, who took to the web earlier this year with a rather serious parody of Charlton Heston’s “Cold Dead Hands” comment, has disavowed the film because of the level of gun violence in the movie. Here are his tweets: I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to e — Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) June 23, 2013   I meant to say my apologies to others involve with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart. — Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) June 23, 2013 You gotta hand it to Carrey. He’s consistent. I...
