So we know that there’s a short list of six actors who may play Batman in Batman Vs. Superman, but who’s up for the role of Lex Luthor. According to the site, when they asked Strong about playing Luthor, Strong responded, “All I can say is… watch this space.” Whatever that means. Strong would be a rather ordinary casting choice for Luthor, and one that would make Luthor slightly older than the presumed Batman actor, who is expected to be in his 40s. Strong also has a history of playing villains in...

The Lone Ranger is struggling to cross $100 million both at the North American and international box office. And Disney is expected to lose close to $200 million on the picture. (Deadline) The hit animated film Foosball from Argentina, one of the biggest film ever...

THE FLASH Set To Become A CW Series?

Posted by on Jul 30, 2013 in Big News, The Tube | 1 comment

While the folks over at Warner Bros. are struggling to get the big screen DC Universe right, the CW and Warner Bros. Television seem to know exactly what they’re doing. The breakout success of Arrow, which is probably the best live-action DC adaptation since Batman Begins, has inspired WBTV and the CW to launch the Flash on that series in preparation for a show of his own. According to Deadline, the plan is to introduce Barry Allen, the scientist who becomes the Flash after a lightning/chemical cocktail, as a recurring character on Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg’s Arrow, then eventually spin him off on his own show. Director David Nutter, who helmed Arrow‘s pilot along with episodes of Game of Thrones and The X-Files, is set to return as well. So why is this good news, considering DC just announced a Flash movie as part of...
