May’s Top Stories: Channing Tatum Will Play Gambit in Some X-Men Movie

Channing Tatum has been openly campaigning for the role of Gambit in the X-Menmovies since forever. (Word on the street is he had one hell of a Gambit inspired strip tease. #thingsimadeup) Now it looks like he’ll get his wish.

X-producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed that Tatum will play the Ragin’ Cajun in an upcoming movie of some sort. Given that the film or films or whatever is one of many things in the works over at Fox in the Universe X, we probably won’t see him on the big screen as Remy LeBeau before Hillary Clinton takes the oath of office… a second time. But hey, it’s good news. For Tatum anyway.

Meanwhile Taylor Kitsch is keeping his fingers crossed for a John Carter sequel.
