FAST & FURIOUS 7 Gets A Release Date

After Paul Walker’s tragic death in a fiery car wreck, a lot of people I know and respect told me that I needed to revisit The Fast & The Furious franchise. They specifically pointed out films 5 and 6 as movies that I just had to see, even comparing them to Die Hard in terms of action artistry.

I’ll probably watch them over the lazy days between Christmas and New Year’s while I catch up on all the 2013 films I still haven’t seen. But with yesterday’s announcement on Vin Diesel‘s Facebook page, I’ll have one more reason to sit down and watch.

Diesel told his fans that Fast & Furious 7 would join the likes of Jurassic Park 4, The Avengers 2 and Batman Vs. Superman in 2015, with a planned release date of April 10. Yep, another blockbuster franchise and joined the heap!  What a year it’s going to be.
