Sandra Bullock To Reteam With George Clooney For OUR BRAND IS CRISIS?
The only thing standing in between Sandra Bullock and Oscar for her role in Gravity is, well, Cate Blanchett. Still that fruitful collaboration with George Clooney in the Alfonso Cuarón space thriller may not be the last time the two stars work together.
Bullock is reportedly in talks for the George Clooney-produced adaptation of the documentary Our Brand is Crisis. That doc explores the American-style political campaign tactics that were employeed in the 2002 election of Bolivian president Evo Morales.
But don’t take it too seriously, kids. Not the rumor. The subject matter. It’s a comedy. Hopefully George can get In the Loop and Veep mastermind Armando Iannucci to come on board to direct, since George isn’t expected to. The political comedy premise is right up his alley.
