Netflix is constantly at an advantage when it comes to their series pick-ups. It knew based on user data that House of Cards would be a sure-thing, thanks to the success of original UK series on its service. Now, Netflix is going all in for The Killing.
AMC canceled the show for a second time in September. But Netflix, which recently added Season 3 to its streaming service, has decided to bring the series back to life… again.
The streaming entertainment company has committed to a six episode final season of The Killing, which ensure that if you want to know how The Killing’s Season 3 cliffhanger ends, you have to find out on Netflix.
Netflix was also responsible for bringing the series back to life the first time, thanks to a co-financing deal with AMC and Fox. But now the series is all Neflix’s. Another win for the service that has had huge originals success with Arrested Development Season 4, House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.
