Wow! Colin Farrell and Paula Patton Officially Offered Leads In WARCRAFT
It looks like Duncan Jones adaptation of the highest-grossing video game in history has its leads.
Deadline is reporting that Colin Farrell and Paula Patton have been offered the top roles in the upcoming film Warcraft. While you can probably take Patton to the bank here, Deadline does not that Colin Farrell is “50/50” as to whether he’ll actually join the production.
But Farrell and Patton aren’t the only actors who Jones has in mind for the film. Paul Dano, Travis Fimmel, Anson Mount and Anton Yelchin are on the shortlist for other roles in the movie.
Even if Farrell turns down the role (something that would make no sense considering he said, “Yes,” to Total Recall), the fact Jones is at the helm gives me hope for a movie that I had absolutely no interest in seeing, especially when Sam Raimi was attached. I’m not a WoW fan, but I am a Jones fan. Having Farrell there, for me, will just be icing on the lovely cake slice (Food Level 75).
