RIDDICK’S Katee Sackhoff Is Talking With Marvel
Katee Sackoff has expressed interest in playing comic book characters, including Typhoid Mary, Harley Quinn and Ms. Marvel. But all of that was just a wishing and hoping. However, in the Schmoe Knows Movies podcast, Stackhoff revealed that her dream may become a reality, as she’s talking with Marvel about her future:
“There’s been some stuff going on… there’s been a lot of checking of availability. I don’t quite know exactly… There’s been a lot of questions about the first quarter of next year.”
Who knows who Sackhoff will play, but we do know that there’s interest in a Ms. Marvel One Shot over at Marvel Studios. Could we be seeing Sackoff as Ms. Marvel on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier Blu-ray release next year? Let’s hope so. It’d be a good stepping stone into Phase 3. And she’s just all around awesome, going back to her Battlestar Galactica days. She’d make one badass female superhero, something Marvel really, really needs in its Cinematic Universe right now.
