The Lone Ranger even making it to theaters is a miracle. After false starts and budget conflicts, it seemed like nothing else could go wrong once the film went into production, right?

Well, how about the star of the film falling of his horse, which was racing at full speed? Yep, that happened to Johnny Depp, as you can see in the GIF above (over and over again).

Really, it’s a karmic moment for Depp because, well, I’m pretty sure the Tonto character is a racist caricature. But whatever. It’s Disney. It’s not like they made a movie that they refuse to release on video because of just how “politically incorrect” (read: offensive) it is.

Regardless, I’m glad he’s okay. (We do need a Pirates of the Caribbean 5, after all.)
