David Cross joins MODERN FAMILY
How could Modern Family get any funnier, you ask? By adding David Cross to the cast, that’s how. The comic actor will join the Emmy winning family comedy for its third season in the recurring role of a city councilman. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the councilman will butt heads with Claire, who is played by Julie Bowen. I wonder if it will involve more yard signs?
If you’re not familiar with Cross, you should be ashamed of yourself he played Tobias in Arrested Development and created Mr. Show with Bob Odenkirk. Me, I’ll always remember him as Slow Donnie in Just Shoot Me. (Green quarter!)
No word on when Cross will appear on Modern Family, but the third season of the ABC comedy premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
