5 things I love about the AMERICAN HORROR STORY promo

We don’t know a lot about American Horror Story. We know it’s a horror drama from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, which means it’ll be a little bit sexy and a little bit shallow. We also know that it’s going to have a huge payoff in the first few episodes. We also have a bunch of clues posted online… that don’t add up to much of anything yet.

Today, however we got our first glimpse of the cast in action with FX’s promo for the upcoming fall show. Take a look:

Murphy and Falchuk are not David Lynch, and American Horror Story isn’t likely to be Twin Peaks. However, a sex-filled horror drama in the vain of True Blood. Maybe?

Judging from theses 5 things I love about the promo, it will at least be both fabulous, sexy and maybe a little random:

1. Jessica Lange reprises her role as the Big Edie. (0:12)
2. Vagina melons. (0:21)
3. Dylan McDermott still sexy after all these years. (o:10)
4. The leather fetishist really loved that wallpaper, Connie! (0:17)
5. Cameo by Han in Carbonite (0:19)
