New pic: Leonardio DiCaprio and Naomi Watts in J. EDGAR

Warner Bros. released new pictures from Clint Eastwood’s Oscar contender J. Edgar, yesterday. While EW had a first look from the movie last week, this is the first time we’ve seen Naomi Watts as Helen Gandy, Hoover’s secretary at the FBI. Wiki tells me that she played a serious behind the scenes role at the Bureau, which means she’s either the struggling wife(ish) character who tends to win a Supporting Actress Oscar or a Lady Macbeth who doesn’t.

Is this the official credits order or an alphabetical order? Who the hell is Armie Hammer as opposed to Hollywood fame Naomi Watts and Judi Dench?
Armie Hammer was in The Social Network. He was going to be a star until Disney killed The Lone Ranger. He’s got a big role in this one though. J. Edgar’s protege and assistant director.
