Channing Tatum up for CAPTAIN AMERICA
Just when you thought the Captain America casting was winding down with the announcement that Hugo Weaving is in talks to play the villain Red Skull, another name has popped up for the lead role. And he’s a real american hero.
G.I. Joe star Channing Tatum is being considered for the title role in The First Avenger: Captain America. According to THR, he joins the list now made up of Chris Evans, Mike Vogel, and Garrett Hedlund. Tatum, ever the brooding hero type, may be a better fit for the DC Universe, but it’s always nice to have an excuse to post anything about Channing Tatum on here.
Keira Knightley has also been approached to play Betsy Ross. I really don’t care either.
