AVATAR breaks TITANIC’s worldwide record
Avatar is No. 1. When Monday’s box office grosses came in, James Cameron’s sci-fi blockbuster hit $1.86 billion worldwide. That’s enough to top Titanic seemingly unsinkable record, which makes Avatar the highest grossing film of all time on the worldwide chart.
But that’s not all! Avatar is only $45 million away from topping Titanic‘s domestic record, too. People talk of adjusting for inflation, but considering how media saturated we are, I’m surprised that this day has come. Thank you for 3D.
