Stephen King’s HAVEN finds a home at Syfy

Earlier in the year, it was announced that Stephen King’s Hard Case Crime novella, The Colorado Kid, would be adapted into a TV series.  Now Variety reports that NBC Universal’s newly rebranded Syfy will air the series, titled Haven, around the globe.

Syfy has picked up the first 13 episodes of the series, which will focus on mysterious happenings in a small New England town. That’s not much of a creative stretch for King’s material, but then again, I always wanted to see what Twin Peaks would be like if it were set in Maine.
