Top Story: After scooping up more than $500,000 at midnight screenings this past weekend, Paramount plans a major expansion of the Oren Peli’s spooktastic Paranormal Activity on Oct. 9. At the same time, Peli announced he is also making plans for his next feature. The director will create a found footage-style thriller about Area 51. (Variety)
