Inglourious weekend – TFC Morning Report
Top Story: Inglourious Basterds ruled the domestic box office this weekend, bringing in an estimated $37.6 million dollars. That’s the biggest opening ever for a Quentin Tarantino film and the Weinsteins first No. 1 movie since 2006. (erc BoxOffice)
In Other News: Paramount has moved Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island to Feb. 2010. The picture didn’t look like Oscar material, so it makes sense to move it to next years books where it can get the proper P&A budget. (Variety)
