‘Avatar’ website crashes – TFC Morning Report
Top Story: I hope you were able to get your Avatar preview tickets. Yesterday the official Avatar movie website crashed as fans clamored to get tickets to a special IMAX 3D preview. Apparently the servers weren’t as technologically advanced as James Cameron’s film is supposed to be. (THR)
In Other News: James McAvoy will star in an adaptation of Will Reiser’s I’m With Cancer. Director Nicole Holofcener will helm the comedy project for Mandate Pictures. (Variety)
While Spielberg moves ahead on other projects, Robert Redford is ready to make his own Lincoln picture. Redford will direct The Conspirator, the story of Mary Surratt, Confederate sympathizer and convicted conspirator in the assassination of Abe Lincoln. (THR’s Risky Biz)
