Top Story: Tyler Perry will release two more pictures with Lionsgate. The deal comes after Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail scored Lionsgate’s biggest weekend opening in the distributor’s 12-year history. Another Madea project, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, will be released later this year and Why Did I Get Married Too will hit screens in 2010. (erc BoxOffice)

The 28th Amendment may finally have a director.  Florian Henckel Von Donnersmarck, whose The Lives of Others won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2007, is in negotiations to helm the political thriller for Warner Bros. (HR)
