TFC Morning Report – Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 – Michel Gondry to direct Green Hornet
RSSS

Top Story: I don’t know much about The Green Hornet, but I’m tickled to hear that Michel Gondry will take on the project. Gondry replaces Stephen Chow who will still star as the Hornet’s sidekick, Kato. Seth Rogen will write and star as the Hornet. (Variety)

In Other News: More green news. Warner Bros. has set Dec. 17, 2010, as the date for The Green Lantern, its next big superhero franchise. The comic book adaptation will be directed by Martin Campbell.  No word on who will play Hal Jordon. (erc BoxOffice)

“Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.” Ellen Degeneres, who voiced Dory in Pixar’s biggest animated film Finding Nemo, will lend her voice to the upcoming Warner Bros. animation titled Dog Show. (HR)

I should be outraged at the next bit of news, but I just can’t summon the energy anymore. Okay, here we go.  Hasbro and Universal are set to produce another Clue movie.  With Gore Verbinski directing. And no Tim Curry, as far as I can tell. I hate them soooo much. It… it… the f… it… flam… flames. Flames, on the side of my face, breathing… breathl… heaving breaths. (HR)
