Top Story: Variety reports that Columbia Pictures is in talks with Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade to join the studio’s untitled comedy project. Dennis Dugan (Don’t Mess with the Zohan) is set to direct.
In Other News: Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin will star in Woody Allen‘s next film, set to start shooting in London this summer, according to Variety. It will be the first Allen project for both.
HR says that Sam Rockwell will join Hilary Swank in Betty Anne Waters, a legal drama that Tony Goldwyn is directing for Omega Entertainment. The film follows a sister who spends years earning a law degree to defend the brother she saw wrongly convicted of murder and robbery.
