In honor of the Republican Convention
I felt a little icky after watching the Sarah Palin deliver here speech tonight at the Republican Convention. The good news is I was able to sneak in a viewing of Mike Nichols’ Charlie Wilson’s War, starring Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman, right before surfing over to CNN.com. Now there’s a flag-waving politician I can admire. He’s smart as a whip, is a true patriot, and doesn’t live like a cloistered nun.
So here’s to Charlie Wilson on the night where She-Bush reigned supreme.
