George Miller directing ‘Justice League’ movie?
Latino Review is reporting that George Miller, director of Happy Feet and Mad Max, is currently the frontrunner for the Justice League helmer position.
The news comes from Latino Review’s El Mayimbe, who has nailed DC Comics/WB news starting way back with the announcement of Brandon Routh as the new Superman. El Mayimbe also scooped everyone on the news that Heath Ledger would play the Joker in The Dark Knight.
El Mayimbe could have another feather in his cap if this rumor proves true. You can read article here.
Collider.com also has an interesting tidbit on Miller as the helmer today here.
That article states that “the Justice League film is more of a priority for WB than the sequel to Superman, so don’t be surprised if you see Brandon Routh in Justice League first.” Bad news for Superman fans. Good news for the genre.
