DUMB AND DUMBER TO Back on at Universal – Big 6 Morning Report
- Just about a week after Warner Bros. dropped plans for a sequel to the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber, Universal has swooped in like an owl to snag the franchise. The studio has closed a deal to distribute Dumb and Dumber To, which unlike the 2003 prequel will have the Farrelly brothers, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels all involved. (Deadline)
- The other day, Den of Geek reported a rumor that Jurassic Park 4 was slated for 2015. Well, at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas yesterday, that rumor was confirmed. Bring on the dinos! (Coming Soon)
- Greg Berlanti, co-creator of the show Arrow and the man who should have directed Green Lantern, has another feature in the works. The director will helm Epsilon, a sci-fi flick about a world that no longer relies on electronics after the first robot rebellion, from a script by Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. - Warner Bros. has hired the BioShock video game creator Ken Levine to write its long-gestating remake of the sci-fi classic Logan’s Run. (ScreenRant)
- Who is Felicity Jones playing in The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Well from the sound of this interview she’s probably playing Felicia Hardy, which means those sequels in 2016 and 2018 will likely include The Black Cat. (Bleeding Cool)
