If anyone can make the leap from vampire slayers and superhero team-ups to William Shakespeare, it’s Joss Whedon. Whedon’s writing is second to none in the pop culture universe. He and William Shakespeare seem like kindred spirits, so there are few movies I’m looking forward to more in 2013. Check out the trailer, and then be sure to check back at the end of the year to find out where this inevitably falls on my best of the year list.

Much Ado About Nothing will play at the SXSW Film Festival.  The film opens for the rest of us on June 7.
