You gotta hand it to Marvel’s marketing people. They can turn their B-listers into A-list sensations. (I’m not including The Incredible Hulk or Hulk, of course.)

Behold they latest Thor poster from IGN, with a full on Chris Hemsworth beard shot. I assume the red hue is there to make him seem like angry god. Or a communist.

Thor will kick off the summer movie season on May 6–no matter what the folks behind Fast Five say–and stars Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Hopkins and Stellan Skarsgård. Kenneth Branagh directs.
